Yoruba Nation Agitator Sunday Igboho Reignites Call for Nigeria’s Disintegration
Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, has once again called for Nigeria’s disintegration, citing the country’s systemic issues that, in his view, undermine national pride and unity.
In a video circulating on social media, Igboho, seen at an airport in the United Kingdom, voiced his frustrations over Nigeria’s struggling economy, rampant corruption, and worsening insecurity. He expressed his disillusionment with the harsh realities faced by Nigerians, both within the country and abroad.
“Even inside the airport, there is no security,” he decried.
“They can steal your belongings inside your bag at Nigerian airports. These are the things dissuading people from being proud of the country,” he added.
Igboho emphasized that Nigeria’s current trajectory is unsustainable, advocating for a peaceful separation of its ethnic groups.
“If Nigeria is not working as a country, it is better we go our separate ways,” he stated.
The activist praised the potential of Yoruba youths, describing them as well-travelled and resourceful.
“Our youths will transform Yoruba Nation. Most of them have travelled across the world and learned a lot. If they return to Yoruba land, their knowledge will help build and transform the nation, just like those in Europe,” he added.
