A recent devastating wildfire in California destroyed thousands of properties and displaced many families. In response, Beyoncé has donated $2.5 million to support the victims.
The donation, reported by The Shade Room, will be distributed through her foundation, beyGOOD. According to Variety, the funds will assist families in Altadena and Pasadena, as well as local churches and community centers affected by the disaster.
The post reads, “Beyoncé’s foundation, beyGOOD, has announced a $2.5 million donation to help with the fire recovery. The funds will go to support Altadena and Pasadena.”
