The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has advised prospective candidates for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry to begin preparing for registration.
The board issued the advice in a statement posted on its official X account on Wednesday.
JAMB assured candidates that full details of the registration process will be announced in due course.
In the meantime, the board advised prospective candidates to begin preparations by obtaining their National Identification Number (NIN) and securing a unique phone number that hasn’t been previously used for registration on the platform. This is crucial for generating a profile code ahead of time.
JAMB emphasized that the profile code card is a unique identifier and must be kept safe. If lost, it cannot be replaced, and candidates should retrieve it immediately if that happens.
Additionally, JAMB announced The Lekki Headmaster by Kabir Alabi Garba as the recommended reading text for the 2025 UTME Use of English paper.
