Blessing, daughter of Akwa Ibom Deputy Governor Sen. Akon Eyakenyi, has passed away. She died from complications during childbirth at a hospital in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Blessing and her husband, Olumuyiwa Adewumi, had married on June 22, 2024. Condolences have poured in from government officials, politicians, and friends since the tragic news broke on January 27.
