The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has uncovered illegal shops in Idumota containing unregistered narcotics, counterfeit drugs, and vaccines stored in unsanitary conditions, including toilets.
In a post shared on X, the agency stated:
“During our ongoing enforcement operation at the Idumota open drug market, NAFDAC has uncovered more alarming products, including unregistered narcotics, counterfeit GSK medicines, and vaccines stored in toilets.”
