Princess Njideka Okeke, the voice behind the popular Akanchawa song and a renowned actress, has remarried. The ceremony took place over the weekend in Anambra State, marking a new chapter in her life.
Njideka, who was previously married to gospel singer Prince Gozie Okeke, was captured in a viral video expressing joy as she departed for her new husband’s home. The news of her remarriage was shared by her colleague, actor Stanley Ontop, on his Instagram page.
In a post accompanied by a video from the event, Stanley wrote: “Nollywood actress Njideka Okeke (Akanchawa) has remarried. Congratulations to her! She was the ex-wife of Nigeria’s biggest gospel singer, Gozie Okeke. These two have had a long-standing feud for many years. But I’m happy Princess Njideka Okeke has finally remarried.”
The remarriage comes after years of public disputes between Njideka and her former husband, Gozie Okeke. Fans and colleagues have since flooded social media with congratulatory messages, celebrating her new beginning.
