The trial of Benjamin Best Nnaji, popularly known as Killaboi, has commenced at the Lagos State High Court in Igbosere over the alleged murder of his girlfriend, Augusta Osedion.
During proceedings, Augusta’s uncle gave a detailed and emotional testimony describing how her body was discovered at the suspect’s residence in Ajah, Lagos.
He told the court that the family could not reach her for three days, prompting concern. With the help of her roommate, they reportedly traced her to an address in Oral Estate, Ikota. After initially being denied access by security personnel, they eventually entered the premises with the assistance of a soldier and police officers.
According to the testimony, Augusta’s car was found parked at the property with the keys left on the bonnet. The gate to the apartment was slightly open. Upon gaining entry, the witness said he discovered a large pool of blood inside the apartment and later saw her body.
He stated that police officers were immediately alerted and the scene was evacuated around 2 a.m. The matter was subsequently transferred to the Panti Police Station for further investigation.
The uncle further testified that social media activity linked to the suspect allegedly included a confession video, which was later shared with authorities and circulated online.
The case continues today at the Lagos State High Court as legal proceedings progress.
