A National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member deployed to Kebbi State, Tayachibiyacha Ebal, tragically collapsed and died at the Dakin Gari NYSC orientation camp. According to reports, the corps member was quickly rushed to the camp clinic for initial medical attention before being transferred to the Federal Medical Centre in Birnin Kebbi for further treatment. Despite the doctors’ efforts to resuscitate her, she did not survive.
Kebbi State’s Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Alhaji Muhammad Fingila, confirmed the sad incident to reporters in Birnin Kebbi. He added that the deceased’s remains have been sent to her home state of Adamawa. Expressing his condolences, Fingila described the situation as unfortunate and extended sympathies to the grieving family on behalf of the Kebbi State government.
