The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to N899.50 per litre, offering some relief to Nigerians ahead of the holiday season.
This new price cut comes just weeks after the refinery’s earlier reduction to N970 per litre on November 24, marking another step by Africa’s first privately-owned oil refinery to ease fuel costs for consumers.
The latest price adjustment aims to help ease transportation costs during the festive season, a time when travel expenses typically increase for many Nigerians.
The announcement was made in a statement on Thursday by Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group.
