International Businesswoman Arrested in Bengaluru in Major Drug Bust

A 40-year-old Nigerian woman has been arrested by the Anti-Narcotics wing of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) in Bengaluru, India, for her alleged involvement in drug trafficking. Authorities seized 12 kilograms of MDMA, a potent narcotic, from the suspect, identified as Roselime Oluchi Ikeoha.

Ikeoha, who has operated a grocery store in TC Palya for the past five years, is believed to have used the business as a front for her drug trade. The CCB’s raid, based on reliable intelligence, led to her detention and the seizure of one of the largest drug hauls in Bengaluru’s history.

City Police Commissioner B. Dayananda, who confirmed the arrest on Tuesday, called the bust “one of the biggest drug seizures in both Bengaluru and Karnataka.” Investigators are continuing to probe the full extent of Ikeoha’s alleged trafficking operations.
