The Lagos State Police Command has arrested the owner of Don Maserati Classic Boutique on Lagos Island, along with two others, following a viral video showing the brutal assault and molestation of a female employee accused of theft.
The disturbing footage, which surfaced online, showed three men viciously flogging the female staff member with canes under the alleged orders of the boutique owner.

Confirming the arrests, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, announced on X (formerly Twitter), “Three suspects have been arrested, while efforts are underway to apprehend other suspects and establish contact with the victim. The Commissioner of Police, CP Olanrewaju Ishola, assures Lagosians that justice will be served.”
While the victim’s identity remains protected, advocacy groups are calling for her immediate rehabilitation and justice. Investigations are ongoing to apprehend additional suspects involved in the assault.
The Lagos State Government and Police Command have reiterated their commitment to delivering justice and have urged residents to report any similar incidents of abuse.
