Popular Nigerian comedian and singer Carter Efe caused a stir on X (formerly Twitter) on December 7, 2024, by revealing the date of his death. Efe, known for his hit song “Machala” and as a content creator, also shared that he is a die-hard Wizkid fan. He is in a relationship and has a child.
n the tweet which has generated over 1m impression on X, Carter Efe said that he might ended up giving up his life on January 10th, 2025.
Carter Efe tweeted; “Might leave this earth January 10th💔.”
Reacting, an X user identified as Seun wrote; “If you leave who go dey give us mid skit?”
Carter Efe reacted; “It’s funny now until you loose me and you will later regret.”

In reaction to Carter Efe’s alarming tweet, blogger Tunde Ednut expressed concern and urged people around Efe to check on him. Tunde wrote:
“I don’t even know when to take Carter serious anymore. But in case this is not a joke, if you know him, please check up on him for us. He might not be joking. Someone should please reach out to him with love.”
