Joseph Aloba, father of the late Mohbad, has urged the Nigerian police to summon the singer’s wife, Omowunmi, and his brother, Adura, to clarify the circumstances surrounding his son’s death.
This call follows a press conference organized by actor Yomi Fabiyi, where a video allegedly sent by Adura raised new questions about Mohbad’s passing. Fabiyi suggested that Adura knew more about the situation, prompting a confrontation between Mohbad’s mother and Fabiyi.
In a statement, Aloba expressed frustration over his attempts to contact Adura, who was present when Mohbad died, but has remained silent. Aloba believes external influences may be obstructing the truth and called on the police to ensure the safety of those involved in the investigation.
He concluded, “I urge the police to summon both Adura and Omowunmi for questioning, as their testimony could be key to understanding what truly happened to my son.”
