Fenerbahçe have secured World Cup-winning midfielder N’Golo Kanté until June 2028, following the termination of his contract with Al Ittihad. The move concludes a chaotic swap deal involving striker Youssef En-Nesyri, which was delayed due to paperwork errors in FIFA’s system.
Fenerbahçe initially blamed Al Ittihad for the TMS mismatch and had an unsuccessful appeal, but Kanté’s personal efforts with Saudi authorities ultimately sealed the transfer.
