Hoodlums have invaded and vandalised Palm City Estate in the Ajah area of Lagos State, causing panic and distress among residents.
According to a report by Africa Independent Television (AIT), the attackers claimed they were acting on the orders of a traditional ruler. Eyewitnesses said the group stormed the estate while invoking the names of Obas as they carried out the destruction, creating fear and confusion within the community.
However, as of the time of filing this report, these claims could not be independently verified.
Residents have called on security agencies to investigate the incident and ensure the safety of lives and property.
