Members of the House of Representatives erupted into a heated debate over the constitutionality of President Tinubu’s emergency rule in Rivers State. The session turned chaotic as two female lawmakers, Marie Ebikake (PDP, Bayelsa) and Blessing Amadi (PDP, Rivers), engaged in a shouting match before plenary began.
Tensions escalated further as some lawmakers banged tables, shouting, “Nothing will happen!” while others appeared ready for a physical altercation over the contentious issue.
