Liverpool have issued a statement regarding today’s Premier League fixture against Manchester United, scheduled for 16:30 GMT, as the city and North West England face snowy conditions.
The statement reads: “A safety meeting was held this morning to assess the weather and travel conditions for today’s match at Anfield.
“At this stage, the match is set to go ahead as planned, and every effort is being made to ensure the game is played. Another safety meeting will take place at midday to evaluate the latest conditions. We will provide an update as soon as possible. Please take extra care, Reds.”
