The Lagos State Police Command has arrested Peter Dike for allegedly st@bbing his 38-year-old wife to de@th during a heated argument at their home in the Oke Ira Ilogbo Eremi community, Morogbo, on March 19. Eyewitnesses reported that the couple’s dispute escalated into a physical altercation, prompting Dike to grab a kitchen knife and inflict fatal injuries on his wife.
Confirming the incident, police spokesperson CSP Benjamin Hundeyin stated that the knife used in the attack has been recovered, and the victim’s body has been taken to the General Hospital, Badagry, mortuary. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Panti, Yaba, for further investigation.
