Popular Yoruba actor Ijoba Lande, real name Ganiyu Kehinde Morufu, has opened up about his painful divorce, leaving many emotional.
In a viral video, the comic actor recounted how his estranged wife, Muyibat, allegedly tormented him before leaving. He claimed she repeatedly provoked him, hoping he would react violently, but he never raised a hand against her.
“Before my wife moved out, she showed me hell. She wanted me to hit her, but I never did. Despite everything, I didn’t want her to leave, so I endured,” he said.
Lande also revealed that financial struggles worsened his pain. Once earning millions monthly from social media, he faced a major setback when he was demonetized. During this tough time, he alleged that his wife was unfaithful, refusing intimacy with him while engaging in relationships outside their marriage.
“My wife told me her hormones weren’t working when I asked for intimacy, yet she had ‘high hormones’ for other men,” he lamented.
He further accused her of financial exploitation, stating that he entrusted her with his earnings, including his ATM card and savings contributions, only to be betrayed.
The actor also made shocking claims about his wife’s involvement with men in the entertainment industry, hinting that some are highly influential.
