So Mirabel has reported to the Ogun State Police Station Over the Rape Incidence.
According to the police, Mirabel also gave conflicting statements during questioning and allegedly declined to undergo comprehensive medical and forensic examinations offered by both law enforcement and supporting NGOs.
Her TikTok account has since been set to private, with multiple videos removed. Reports indicate that some individuals who made donations following her claims are now seeking refunds.
Investigations remain ongoing. Police officials emphasized that false allegations can undermine genuine cases and assured the public that such matters will be handled with due seriousness.
