Monaco have excluded 32-year-old midfielder Paul Pogba from their updated Champions League roster ahead of February’s play-offs, prioritizing his recovery from a persistent calf injury that has limited him to just 30 minutes of action this season.
Sporting director Thiago Scuro explained that medical staff are focusing on getting Pogba match-fit for league fixtures first. Pogba, who joined Monaco on a free transfer in June 2025 following an 18-month doping ban, now faces uncertainty over his future as the club prepares to face rivals PSG without him in Europe’s premier competition.
