Teebillz apologizes to Toke Makinwa and reflects on his divorce from Tiwa Savage.

After the public back-and-forth with Toke Makinwa, Teebillz has issued a heartfelt apology for his remarks about her lack of knowledge regarding the family.

The tension between the two began after Toke Makinwa’s outburst over 2Baba’s announcement of his divorce from Annie Idibia, which came while she was undergoing rehab.

During a live session with popular OAP Daddy Freeze on Instagram, talent manager Teebillz offered a public apology to Toke Makinwa, clarifying that his previous comments had been misunderstood.

Teebillz explained that his remarks were triggered by Toke’s public criticism of 2Baba’s announcement of his separation from Annie Idibia, and he emphasized that sometimes separation is necessary for healing and reworking relationships.

“I would like to publicly apologize to Toke. I think my message was misconstrued because, at the end of the day, we are all family. You see, this feminist thing is getting out of hand,” Teebillz said.

He went on to question Toke’s involvement in Annie’s life before the separation, hinting that reality shows like Young, Famous & African often exploit people’s personal flaws for content. He stressed that family disputes should be left unresolved privately, as separation could be the key to healing.

“Who knows whether they are coming back together tomorrow? Who are we to choose sides?” he said, adding that his thoughts on the situation were rooted in prayer for both 2Baba and Annie.

On his own divorce from Tiwa Savage, Teebillz expressed that people often misjudge those going through personal struggles, pointing out that he gave everything to Tiwa, but the entertainment industry posed challenges. He also spoke of the importance of respecting women, especially as the mother of his child, and how proud he is to see his child succeed.

“When I see my child doing well, I am happy and that’s because of Tiwa,” he said, emphasizing the role Tiwa played in their child’s development.

Teebillz’s candidness and apology offer a deeper insight into the complexities of relationships in the public eye and the emotional toll of family feuds.
