Two suspects, Ado Yusuf and Rabi’u Suleiman, accused of stealing tricycles from local residents, have been apprehended by operatives of the Kano State Police Command.
The arrest was confirmed in a statement released by the command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna, on Thursday.
He further confirmed that the stolen tricycles have been recovered and returned to their rightful owners.
The successful recovery was the result of a well-coordinated, intelligence-driven raid on criminal hideouts in Dambatta Local Government Area of Kano State.
“The Command urges members of the public who have fallen victim to similar crimes, especially those whose tricycles were stolen through drugging or other methods, to report to the Police Public Relations Officer at the command’s Headquarters in Bompai for possible identification,” the statement concluded.
