Nigerian activist and social media personality VeryDarkMan has claimed he is receiving threats from King Mitchy and Seyi Tinubu following a recent controversy involving a school renovation proj
In a 15-minute video shared on Sunday, the activist dismissed Mitchy’s apology released a day earlier, describing it as a distraction from the main issue.
VeryDarkMan also shared screenshots of alleged leaked direct messages in which Mitchy reportedly warned some of his associates about “something heavy” that could come from Seyi Tinubu, the son of Bola Tinubu, Nigeria’s president.
The online dispute reportedly began in late February after VeryDarkMan accused Mitchy of staging a school renovation project in Delta State for social media clout, claiming the project was funded by Seyi Tinubu as part of efforts to improve his public image.
Following the controversy, Mitchy issued an apology on Saturday. However, VeryDarkMan alleged the apology was scripted and coordinated, claiming that Nigerian content creator Nasboi helped mediate the situation.
The activist further warned that he would hold both Mitchy and Seyi Tinubu responsible if anything happens to him, including potential attempts to frame him through planted drugs or financial fraud allegations.
The situation intensified after a mysterious audio clip surfaced online, fueling further speculation and debate among social media users.
The controversy has since sparked divided reactions online, with some supporting VeryDarkMan’s claims while others question the allegations and call for evidence.
